After working in the
front of house for many restaurants for 7 years I decided to learn the
back of house and become a chef. To accomplish my dream I enrolled in the
Restaurant School at Walnut Hill College in Philadelphia. After getting my degree in Culinary Arts I began working in several prestigious restaurants.
One of my greatest experiences was working for multi-media celebrity
Chef Jim Coleman at
Normandy Farm in Blue Bell, PA. I continue to work with Chef Coleman on occasion assisting him with TV shows and cooking classes at the
Dilworthtown Inn.
For the last five years I have worked with numerous diets including Atkins, South Beach, Vegetarian, Gluten-free, Hypoglycemic, Raw and Vegan. I have created gourmet meals for parties from 2 to 450 including managing the events from menu creation, tents, flatware, bartenders and waitstaff. My position as a private chef allowed me to continue my culinary education in Italy, Switzerland and Thailand which added an authentic twists to my creations.
