    Add some sparkle to your life with a touch of Champagne in your cooking. It's fizzy, it's festive and it adds brightness to every dish. After enjoying a complementary blood orange Bellini you will watch Chef Olga Metsker create a dinner that will tingle your taste buds with recipes including Spiced Walnut and Pear Arugula Salad with Champagne Vinaigrette, Pan Seared Scallops, Champagne Risotto, Beef Tenderloin with Béarnaise Sauce and a Champagne Sabayon Trifle.

    The Champagne Wishes dinner is held at The Inn Keeper's Kitchen which is Dilworthtown's state-of-the-art culinary demonstration kitchen. You'll watch and get to interact with Chef Olga Metsker as she prepares each dish right in front of your eyes.

    Chef Olga Metsker specializes in private cocktail and dinner parties for Chester County and the Main Line. It's like bringing a gourmet restaurant right into the comfort of your own home.

    Russian immigrant and private chef, Olga Metsker, will create a feast that combines time honored recipes from her homeland with the artistry that has made her one of the most sought after in-home chefs.

    The class will start off with an exciting Russian tradition: a shot of vodka served in an ice shot glass - a chilling taste of Siberia to be remembered!

    Each dish for this class comes with its own story; not only will guests be introduced to modern, yet distinctly Russian cooking, but to the cultural heritage that accompanies it. This six course meal will include specialties such as Borscht, Dill & Potato Crusted Arctic Char, Stuffed Cabbage and Moist Honey Cake with Mascarpone Mousse.

    Private classes

    Private cooking lessons and cooking parties in your own kitchen are a great experience. Each private cooking class is customized so you can learn exactly the type of cooking you want. Whether you want to start from scratch and learn cooking basics or simply want to expand your culinary repertoire, you can be sure to have a fun and educational cooking experience.

    For each private cooking lesson, you receive a customized cooking lesson plan that includes the collection of recipes you will learn. All cooking lessons are hands-on in your own kitchen.

    Plan on spending about 2 or 3 hours per cooking lesson depending upon what kind of food is being prepared. Private cooking lessons allow you to reserve a time that suits your schedule without the hassle of traveling to a cooking school. Personalized attention guarantees you will learn new cooking skills and get all your cooking questions answered. Cooking lessons are scheduled at a mutually agreeable time.

    The cooking classes are held in the hosts home. I bring all the groceries, equipment and supplies. Usually I have six guest in a class but private classes are available. You can choose from any type of cuisine you would like to learn, Thai, Mediterranean and Spanish tapas are very hot right now. After the cooking class is over I clean up and take out the trash.

    Party class: Two hours - $75 per person (minimum of 6)

    I discuss the cooking theme with the host a few days before the class. I will create a fabulous menu and print out all the recipes to give to the guests. On the day of the lesson I will shop for the freshest ingredients and arrive at the students house at the scheduled time. My cooking classes are based on a five course menu consisting of soup, appetizer, salad, entrée, dessert and complementary wine tasting. And yes, you get to enjoy every course as they are prepared. You can choose to sit back with a glass of wine and watch as the meal is prepared. Or pickup a knife and get some action hands on. Either way you and your guests will have a great time with my cooking party class.

    Private cooking lesson: Three hours - $300

    I will discuss the dishes the student would like to make. On the day of the lesson I will shop for the freshest ingredients and arrive at the students house at the scheduled time. In the privacy of the students home we will create wonderful dishes from scratch. At the same time learn professional chef techniques step by step as the student prepares the dishes.
